Today is one of those days that I am really excited with the mail. More so than usual! During Spring Training, Legends Memorabilia had a signing, like they do every year, with Mike Trout. I had two of my 2014 All Star Game ticket strips signed by the Futures Game MVP (Joey Gallo) and the Home Run Derby winner (Yoenis Cespedes) and just needed the All Star Game MVP, Mike Trout to complete it. I mailed one in due to the expensive fee for the autograph and it arrived signed by Trout today. It is something that has a ton of memories in it as well as ink on each ticket. Hopefully next spring I will be able to send in the other strip and complete that one too!
The other item I received today was my second to last 1986 Expos Provigo card… this time signed by Jeff Reardon. I wonder if he thought it was odd a MN address was sending him an Expos card instead of a Twins card. It looks awesome signed.

Sweet Music
While I already had one signed, I could not resist sending Frank Viola his 1986 Twins 7-Eleven card I found while moving some cards around. I love this set and having another Frank Viola card is pretty sweet. Frank signed it nicely in blue.
Layin’ Down the Law
Just like yesterday’s mail, today’s mail brought in a 1986 Provigo Expos card but this time it is Vance Law. Vance signed it beautifully and it is a pretty cool looking card.

While moving some things around a while ago, I came across some really cool cards I must have picked up a while ago. They are 1986 Provigo Montreal Expos cards. I have no idea what a Provigo is/was but the sponsored some cards for the Expos in 1986. They are printed on really thin stock, almost paper like, and have perforated edges like they came in sheets. The backs are printed in red, white, and blue and are in French and English. I picked up a few of these long ago somewhere and finally got around to sending them out. Today’s mail brought in the first of the few I sent out. Dan Schatzeder signed his card beautifully in blue.
