Bill M (nosamm on SCN) had Edmundo Sosa in for a signing event. I found out about it just before the mail deadline so even sending priority mail they arrived the morning of the event. I mailed a pair of tickets from his MLB Debut that my buddy in St Louis attended and sent me his tickets for my collection. I received them signed perfectly with MLB Debut today. They look awesome!
Just Rollin'(s) Along
Rich Rollins was a feared power hitter for the Twins in the 1960s. I found a 1964 Venezuelan baseball card of his and a Baseball Digest from 1962 and decided to send them to him to be signed. He returned both signed beautifully with the marker I sent today!
Adley!
One of the top young players in baseball now is Adley Rutschman. Adley plays catcher for the Orioles and was called up this season and has been amazing so far. Adley had a private signing through Great Moments where they offered a Fanatics hologram added to signed items. I sent in the best baseball I could find and received it back today signed PERFECTLY on the sweetspot in blue ink with the Fanatics hologram on the back. This is a great ball for the collection to see how Adley continues to grow and play the game!
Garry
For some reason, I am really attracted to the Venezuelan baseball cards printed in the 1960s. I picked up a couple recently and sent them out to be signed. They are typically way more worn and printed on thinner stock but having a back of a card in Spanish or a different background is cool to me. Today’s mail brought a 1964 Venezuelan Garry Roggenburk card that he signed in thin black Sharpie. Cool oddball card for the collection!
