I have been fortunate enough to add the San Diego Chicken’s autograph to my collection on multiple occasions. One of the first mascots/entertainers in baseball was Max Patkin who was known as The Clown Prince of Baseball. If you have watched Bull Durham or any number of baseball films from the 1950’s to 1980’s, you have probably seen a clip of Max performing. Today I added a baseball signed by Max along with “Clown Prince of Baseball”. I connected with Evan Miller via Facebook when he was selling some of his father’s inventory. His father ran Miller Boys memorabilia before he passed away and had Max in for multiple signing events. I am excited to add this baseball to my collection!
