Today I received another package of baseballs from prospects in the Florida State League that my friend Paul C got. Paul has gotten me a ton of baseballs signed the last few years from all sorts of prospects and he does a great job.
The players in this package are:
Roman Quinn w/”Go Phillies!!”
Billy McKinney
Kyle Schwaber
Tyrell Jenkins w/”2010 1st Round”
Luke Weaver w/”1st Round Pick”
Gavin Checchini w/”1st Rd 2012″
Sadly, this is probably the last batch of autographs for a while from Paul as the minor league seasons are wrapping up for the year. I cannot wait until spring training when Paul will again get more autographs for me!
Mauer Power
Today I received a pair of Joe Mauer Topps Heritage cards I bought from Matt W (invctrl on SCN). Matt got me a bunch of cards signed on consignment the last couple years during spring training and these Mauer cards were signed this spring training in Ft Myers. The cards I bought were:
2011 Topps Heritage #250
2012 Topps Heritage #186
I cannot wait to send Matt more cards for spring training 2015!
Kluber Ain’t a Goober!
Today’s mail brought a baseball I sent to Chriss P (bigpog on SCN) for a signing Corey Kluber was having at GPS Gift Gallery in Rocky River, OH. I received the ball signed perfectly in blue ink on the sweetspot just as I requested. Thanks Chriss!
Aaron Isn’t a Hick!
Today I received a package from my friend Jon S in Rochester, NY. He got Aaron Hicks on a couple cards for me the day he was promoted to Rochester. Jon previously got me Josmil Pino on a card and included that in the package.
The cards I got were:
2014 Gypsy Queen Josmil Pinto
2014 Topps Aaron Hicks
2014 Topps Heritage Aaron Hicks
Thanks as always Jon!
