It’s Killer Rob!

I was going through my signed business cards a week or so ago and noticed the one I had for my buddy Rob was from the Metrodome days. I emailed him and told him I needed to upgrade to a Target Field one. I figured I would get one next time I saw him. Well, today he surprised me with a signed business card. He even inscribed it with “0 Hits” (although that is not the case as he provided me a number of hits over the years). What makes this card really, really cool is that he signed it with a marker that Harmon Killebrew gave to him after he assisted at Twinsfest or the Autograph Party or some event like that. When Harmon was done signing he gave his marker (a Steadtler F point blue) to Rob and he has kept it all these years and used it to sign the card. THAT is pretty Killer!

Pretty Fulgy of Him

Today I received a 1981 Topps card signed by John Fulgham. It is not what I wanted. I sent a ticket to John from his Major League debut game along with the $5 he requires per autograph and a new Sharpie paying the extra in postage, etc. He kept my ticket and sent me the card. I am pretty disappointed since he has a fee for his autograph. I was going to send it back and ask for my $5 back but then I would be out the cost of postage and he probably would not send anything back. #ClownMove
