Today I received a cool Sports Illustrated magazine that had Jon Lester added to it but not before a mail delivery scare. I had mailed my 10.10.2016 SI issue that was already signed by Jake Arrieta, Dexter Fowler, Jorge Soler, and Hector Rendon to a signing that Josh Rubin (via the Baseball Private Signings Facebook group) was having with Lester. Lester used to be a Fanatics client and his autographs were expensive and limited. I was excited when I saw Lester was signing so I sent it in. Our mail arrived this afternoon and delivery confirmation showed it as being delivered. It was nowhere to be found! Around 5pm a nice lady stopped by and dropped it off saying it was delivered to her instead. I am thankful for the kindness of neighbors! I doubt I will ever complete the issue getting all nineteen people on the cover to sign it but it is a fun little project for when one pops up at a signing.
