Today I received a 1993 Topps Kirby Puckett All Star card that was certified by PSA/DNA. I picked it up off eBay from SportsNewsShows who is sponsoring a big show in a couple weeks that I hope to go to and get Cal Ripken Jr and Frank Robinson’s autographs. It was a tougher Puckett to find so I am pleased.

Go West Young Man! Go West!
I have been anxiously awaiting today for a month and a half or so. David West, one of the pitchers from the 1991 Twins World Championship team, was in town for an autograph signing event. David was one of the last four members I needed on my team baseball. Cami went with me and got a photo signed for herself and I got an upgrade to a card as well as the ball signed. He asked me who was left and I told him “Bedrosian, Guthrie and …” and he said “Sorrento”. I told him he was right and he nodded his head. Pretty funny that he could guess and he knew who was missing. I am guessing a lot of people are missing Paul Sorrento.
Also, a person I purchased a Yoenis Cespedes baseball from stopped by to deliver it. Another baseball off the want list!
Motte this time!
Actually, this time was great!
I posted my baseball wants a few months ago and my guy Paul C (who was mentioned in previous posts on here) had an extra Jason Motte ball so he offered it to me. I bought it and today I received it. It was another quality baseball for my collection!
2012 Ford Frick Winner
Today I received a baseball I purchased from MLAM. The final living Hall of Famer I needed (I include the broadcasters with them) on a baseball was Tim McCarver. I compared prices and for a few bucks more than it would have cost me to send in to a show, I was able to get one with an inscription and MLB certified. The one I received was perfect!
