Today I received the last seven Sports Illustrated magazines with Pete Rose on the cover that I sent in to a private signing to get signed. They turned out perfect! I am really excited to add them to my collection! Franco858 (Isaias F on SCN) had a private signing with Pete in Las Vegas and these were signed at his event. The issue I got signed are:
08.27.1979 (already signed by Manny Mota)
07.19.1982
08.27.1984
04.03.1989
07.03.1989
01.12.2004
03.10.2014
It was a great box to open!

A Trifecta of Hall of Famers
Today I met up with my buddy Joel B (brad0112 on SCN) at Caden’s baseball tournament in Richfield. Joel brought some things I had bought a while ago and he picked up for me as well as three magazines from a private signing he had during all star week.
Today I added a beautiful Lefty Gomez baseball and a beautiful Carl Hubbell baseball. Both are psa/dna certified. These came from the same batch I bought from a few months ago when I got Yogi Berra, AB Chandler, Curt Gowdy, Willie Stargell, Brooks Robinson and Hal Newhouser. I have been wanting a Hubbell for a while and they are real hard to find in this condition. I am pretty excited for both of these.
Joel brought three Sports Illustrated magazines he had signed for me when he met up with Rickey Henderson after the Celebrity Softball game last week. These are also beautiful magazines signed perfectly.
Thanks a ton Joel!
Cobra Times Two
Today’s mail brought a pair of Sports Illustrated magazines signed by Dave Parker. I sent them to Mark C (psugator01 on SCN) for a private signing he was going to have with Dave. I already had the issue where he was swinging on the cover but had the issue with Jim Rice already signed by Rice and another unsigned one sitting at home so I sent them in. The cover signed by both looks sharp! Thanks Mark!
Lights Out Lidge
Today I received a pair of Sports Illustrated magazines I sent in to a signing event through the Sports Vault in Pennsylvania on June 7th. I sent in two issues with one already signed by Carlos Ruiz and received them back signed beautifully in blue Sharpie as requested.
