Modeling Clay

Today’s mail brought a real fun one! The 2008 Sports Illustrated Baseball Preview Issue had six players on it. It featured a fold out cover to show all six and they were real up and coming superstars. I had four of the six already sign it when I found that Todd S (toddschafer on SCN) was having a signing with Clay Buchholz, one of the remaining two. I excitedly mailed in my magazine and received it signed today! Todd even posted a photo of Clay signing it on his Facebook page! I am down to needing just Troy Tulowitzki to finish it up!

The players who have signed it already are:
Ryan Braun
Justin Upton
Jacoby Ellsbury
Clay Buchholz
Ryan Zimmerman

The Miz!

Monday’s post mentioned that I was going to receive a ticket signed by Jacob Misiorowski that Alan M (alanmoore on SCN) got signed during a private signing.  It arrived today! It looks great! Miz included “MLB Debut” on it as well! Jacob started his career with an unbelievable run with his first three starts very impressive. Things have leveled out for him but know the name! He will be an All Star soon!

Three’s A Charm!

Today’s mail brought three packages! The first was a baseball signed by Jacob Misiorowski that Alan M (alanmoore on SCN) got done during a private signing. I am waiting on a debut ticket in another package!
The next package contained 2021 Gypsy Queen Byron Buxton card which I bought form Wesley George.
And finally I received my Michael Busch ticket signed with MLB Debut. Donnie D (Macey225 on SCN) got it signed at a show in Chicago a couple weeks ago.
A nice mail day for sure!

The Toddfather

Mike C (mac6185 on SCN) had a signing with Todd Helton a couple weeks ago. I had sent in my actual HOF Induction ceremony ticket from last year to the signing. It is stamped and cancelled at the post office induction weekend. I also sent in a plaque postcard that I had cancelled at the post office there as well. Both came back signed beautifully. I am excited to get these items signed from that magical trip to Cooperstown we did as a family last summer. I have a couple more to go on my ticket to complete it!
