Today I received a box of goodies I had sent to my friend Jon S in Rochester, NY for some Twins players.  Jon has hooked me up many times and does an awesome job of working the Red Wings.  Today brought the following autographed items:

It’s in the Mag(azine)!

Today was fun!  I received a surprise package from a friend of mine who is also working on getting me autographs in Arizona for spring training.  Kent B (doggle3 on SCN) knows I collect autographed tickets and sent me three tickets signed by Eric Hosmer including two from his ML Debut!  Thanks Kent!

Also, I met Aaron D who worked on some Sports Illustrated magazines for me over the past couple years.  Aaron works the hotels and ballparks here in the Cities.  He got me a Jeff Francoeur issue and Reed Johnson and Vernon Wells on their issue.  Thanks Aaron!

Merry Christmas To Me!

Actually, Merry Christmas to everyone (all two of you who reads this)!

Today’s mail brought an MVP and a 30 Game Winner!  First, Jamie B (jamieblye on SCN) attended a fundraiser for a local Michigan Food Shelf where Denny McLain was signing autographs for donations.  I sent him a pair of Sports Illustrated magazines and he got one signed for me!

The other package was awesome.  This past summer Josh Hamilton was on the cover of a Sports Illustrated magazine so I sent it off to him.  I received it just in time to be my Christmas present from him.  Josh is one of the best signers in the game for as good of a player he is.  Thanks Josh!

Twins #1 Prospect Miguel Sano

Today I received my end of a 50/50 with Nick C (brewcrewownyou on SCN) which was a blue ink sweetspot ball signed by Miguel Sano.  Nick included a ticket from the Snappers game where it was signed as well as a couple photos of him getting Miguel to sign stuff.  Sano has a couple different versions of his autograph and both of which you cannot tell what it says.  I am excited to add this player to my collection as he is projected to be a top player and is one of the top prospects in baseball.
