Today I received a really cool surprise from my friend Kyle S (esiason14 on SCN). He surprised me with a couple awesome HOF postcards that I did not have. Because of Kyle I can now include a Ray Dandridge and a George “Highpockets” Kelly postcard! Kyle also included a season ticket booklet of his tickets for the Orioles and a couple Orioles schedules. THANK YOU Kyle! I appreciate you thinking of me and wish you much success in philanthropic pursuits. Take care my friend!

Three HOF baseballs!
Today I received a pair of packages in the mail. Both contained signed baseballs with HOF inscriptions.
The first was a response from Pat Gillick. He graciously signed a baseball with HOF 2011 for my collection.
The second package was a purchase from Amazon of a pair of Steiner certified Tom Lasorda baseballs with H.O.F. 97. A coworker of mine, Wayne S, alerted me to the special pricing on them. There was a limit of three per order. I ordered two and was concerned after someone on SCN mentioned that when he ordered discounted Steiner baseballs via Amazon in the past that they were less than perfect items. These two baseballs look awesome and I cannot think how they could be improved upon! Thanks for the heads up Wayne!
A day where you get three HOF signed baseballs with inscriptions in the mail is a great day!
An Old HOFer and a New HOFer!
Today’s mail brought a pair of real nice autographs. The first was a baseball I sent to Jim Bunning and requested a few career stats. He signed it and included just HOF but it looks great. The other package was a Sports Illustrated magazine I bought from Kathleen S (bagsfan52 on SCN) that is a GORGEOUS PSA certified Ken Griffey Jr magazine from 06.06.1994. That is an awesome addition the the SI collection!
A Pair of HOFers
Today I received a couple HOF postcards in the mail that I bought from Tom Orr (orr23mj on SCN). Tom had a signing with both Craig Biggio and Randy Johnson and these were signed then. The Biggio has Tristar certification and the Johnson has JSA Witness. I do not actively buy the HOF postcards but Tom offered them at a fair price so I picked them up.
