Jamie B (jamieblye on SCN) was recently involved with a private signing with Roberto Alomar. Roberto was the last of three Hall of Famers I needed to sign my 2011 HOF Induction ticket. What makes this ticket cool is that it is postmarked from Cooperstown on induction weekend. It is a colorful ticket that granted media into “section 2” of the induction ceremony grounds. It is now completed with Bert Blyleven, Pat Gillick, and now Alomar all signing it and including “HOF 2011”.

Not Bogged Down
I recently got back a 2005 Hall of Fame Induction family/press ticket that Ryne Sandberg signed for me and I sent it out right away to Wade Boggs. Today is arrived back signed perfectly and the ticket is now complete!
Twins Welcome Back HOFers
Cami and I went to the Twins game tonight. It was a celebration of Jim Kaat and Tony Oliva and their welcome back from Cooperstown following their inductions into the Hall of Fame. The Twins offered a special package that included a pair of HOF baseball signed under the logos of Kaat and Oliva as well as a special bobblehead of each and the induction weekend program. It was all in a real nice box. I picked the one up I bought before the game and Cami and I enjoyed a Twins victory over the Blue Jays. Even though it rained for part of the game, we still had a blast.
Rodney
A while ago I had sent in a pair of Topps Project 70 cards for a signing that Tom O (orr23mj on SCN) was having with Rod Carew. I asked Tom to use a nice bold gold paint pen. Well, when I received them the paint pen appears transparent on it. I reached out to Tom and he told me to send them back next time he had a signing with him.
I sent the two cards so he could wipe them or show that they were messed up plus a replacement of each of them (I usually buy two of things for exactly this reason) as well as a different Project 70 card and a Topps Andy Friedman Spotlight 70 Series II card. I received all six cards signed today. I did not expect the two that were signed in gold to be signed but they were and I was able to remove the gold paint pen. Tom provides solid customer service!
