This is not autograph related directly but something I am excited about all the same. If you have followed my blog for a while you may remember I recently got a ticket signed by Tom Kelly from the game he hit his only home run in and that the baseball is on display at Target Field. I had acquired a pair with the tremendous assistance of Mark B and once I received the one signed, I decided to donate the second to the Twins to be displayed with the ball. I run into the Twins Curator just about every game I go to because of where my seats are and I asked him if he would want the ticket and he was overjoyed to have it and told me he would display it with the ball. Today I went to the Twins game and took the below pictures of the ticket with the ball. I am pretty proud of this!

Cele-brate

As previously mentioned here, I finally was able to wrap up my lists of the Twins cards I received from Spring Training. After that, I was able to regroup and check extra cards that people received in Spring Training and was able to get my hands on a couple. Today’s mail brought a 2022 Topps Heritage #630 Gilberto Celestino card signed during the spring. Robbie L (robbielee on SCN) got my a few items signed and had this as an extra so I grabbed it!

Larnach

I finally got a chance to update my website with all the autographs on Twins cards I got from spring training. Once I was organized, I went on SCN to look for others I was missing. What is tough is that due to COVID, Twinsfest was cancelled two years in a row and while I had a great Twinsfest this year, it really set me back missing those two years. I found that Rob G (Gris29 on SCN) had a 2022 Trevor Larnach #557 card available so I bought it. I found a couple others that should be arriving soon. It is good to knock off needs even if they are one or two at a time!

Twins Spring Part II

Today was a great mail day! I received my package from Matt H (mattyice on SCN) of all the autographs he got for me during spring training. It was a big package so I am excited to mark them off my list and update my website with them! Matt has taken real good care of me the last few spring trainings. Living in Ft Myers makes it easy for him to go all spring long. The items I received from him today are:
