Fan HQ had a couple Twins players come in for signings recently. It is a bit of a drive for me to get there so I just pay the extra and mail it all to them. They really do a fantastic job on items and take care of them as they were their own. When I saw Royce Lewis and Jhoan Duran appearing there I knew I had to send in since they offered inscriptions and I had a few items that needed to be signed with inscriptions. The items I received back today are:
Royce Lewis:
5/6/2022 game used baseball signed with “MLB Debut 5/6/22”
5/6/2022 ticket signed with “MLB Debut:
5/13/2022 ticket signed with “1st MLB HR”
Jhoan Duran:
4/8/2022 game used baseball signed with “MLB Debut 4/8/22”
5/2/2022 ticket signed with “1st MLB Save”
I am excited to knock these items off with inscriptions. Fan HQ has a few items of mine for a Joe Mauer private signing that I hope to get back within the next couple weeks. What fun!

What A Roster!
Before I left on vacation, I decided to send a baseball to Greg Gagne to see if he would write the roster of the 1987 Twins team on it. He did! It is pretty cool to see all the player’s names listed on it and the memories of that ’87 team. I now have to figure out who to ask to do a 1991 roster ball!
Kitty Kaat
Mike Macguire is the autograph agent for Jim Kaat and does an amazing job with items for collectors. I recently acquired a 2022 HOF Induction ticket and sent it to Mike to have Jim sign it. They met up in Cooperstown for the Hall of Fame weekend and signed the ticket. It was signed exactly where I requested it and looks great! Now to add Tony O and Big Papi…
A Rose Is A Rose Is A Rose
Today we began our day in Cooperstown, NY walking around the shops. I wanted to make sure Cami got to meet Pete Rose. It was really the only autograph I planned on paying for this weekend because I wanted her to meet the Hit King. He did not disappoint!
I asked Cami what inscription she wanted on the ball and she said the “Sorry I bet on baseball” one. That was $100 for that inscription but since I wanted this to be a great memory for her, I got it. We waited about 35 minutes in line in the back of the building and when it was our turn he signed the ball and I asked if Cami could come around for a photo with him. We chatted about MN (he played in the 1965 and 1985 All Star Games and had the first hit in the Metrodome). It was really neat chatting with him and Cami really enjoyed meeting him! It was a phenomenal way to start our day in Cooperstown!
