Great Cesar’s Ghost!

Cesar Tovar was a great MLB player for many teams but is most known for his years as a Minnesota Twin. Cesar played all nine positions in the same game while a player for the Twins.
He is also the last card I need to complete my 1972 Topps Twins set. Well, not any more! Brian Kritz reached out to me about the card and I told him it was the last one I needed and would love to purchase it from him. It was not cheap, probably the most money I paid for a card for my Twins collection, but it wraps up my 1972 team set!

Not a (T)witt

I have received a large number of items over the years that Chris L (ChrisL999 on SCN) has gotten players to sign for me but this might be one of the biggest. Chris got field passes for the Royals at Nationals at the end of the season and was able to wrangle Bobby Witt Jr to sign my debut ticket. This turned out amazing and it a beautiful addition to my ticket collection. Bobby had one of the top months of offensive output this season and will continue to get even better. He will be one of the finalists for AL MVP probably losing out to Aaron Judge but he will get his chance soon enough. Chris also included a Dylan Crews debut ticket he got signed for me a few days prior to the Witt.
Pretty awesome package! Thanks for everything this season, Chris! Can’t wait until next year!

Sir Rodney!

Tom Orr (orr23mj on SCN) has had numerous signings with Rod Carew over the years. He had a private signing lined up for February, 2024 but Rod’s health was not that great so it was delayed. Seeing Rod in Cooperstown made me understand first hand why. Rod was feeling better and Tom met with him and got my two cards signed and I received them today. At this point I think I have everything signed by Rod I have unsigned for my collection. That is until a new Twins card is released. The cards I got signed are:
2022 Allen & Ginter #145
2022 Topps Andy Friedman #32
As always with Tom, they are signed perfectly.
