Today I received an SI I sent in to a private signing back on February 17th. Tom O (orr23mj on SCN) has diligently been working with Edgar Renteria waiting for him to come to the States (he lives out of the country) and the day finally came where Tom could meet up with him and get the items signed. My item is a 11.03.1997 issue celebrating the Marlins’ World Series win. It looks great and was well worth the wait!

A Pair of SIs
Today brought a bunch of packages but only two had items that were signed. They were both Sports Illustrated magazines.
The first package was a return from a Sure Shot Promotions show where they had Jason Varitek signing. Jason was on the cover of the 10.25.1999 issue and he signed it real nice in blue Sharpie.
The second package contained the 03.03.1975 issue that I sent to Gary Nolan. It was already signed by Clay Carroll and Jack Billingham. It is now signed by Mr Nolan too. He even returned my donation I sent to him! Thanks Mr Nolan!
A Beat To a Different Drummond
Today I received a card signed by Tim Drummond. I already had this card signed but Tim is a tough signer and this was an upgrade to the one I have. I bought it from Todd R (tryfinski on SCN).
Vote For Pedro!
Today I received a signed 1994 Topps Pedro Munoz card that I traded a 1982 Topps Terry Bulling signed card for in a trade with Justin M (jdmurphy315 on SCN). Both cards were obtained by each of us via a private signing at some point in the past. Pedro now lives in Venezuela and is a hard autograph to come by. Terry passed away earlier this year and he was a tough autograph even when he was alive. It leaves me down to needing just a 1995 Munoz card to complete the Munoz Topps Twins cards.
