Today I received a pair of Sports Illustrated magazines signed by CC Sabathia. Last year Mike C (luckymike32 on SCN) scheduled a private signing with Sabathia but because he went on the DL and did not make the trip to Kansas City, the signing never happened. This year he made the trip with the Yankees and Mike was able to schedule the signing. I got the 04.06.2009 and 04.25.2013 issues signed in perfect blue Sharpie. Thanks Mike!

A Four For Two Day
Today I got two packages that had four autographs combined in them. They were both from private signings and turned out awesome.
The first was a package from my friend Robert T in Tulsa, OK who is friends with Charlie O’Brien. A week or so ago I got a book and baseball signed by Charlie and today I received my Sports Illustrated magazine from 05.23.1994. Charlie signed in perfectly with “Catch Ya Later”. It turned out perfect.
The other package had three perfect autographs. Chriss P (bigpog on SCN) lives near Cleveland, OH and got a baseball signed by Yan Gomes and the Indians version of the Sports Illustrated Baseball Preview issue from 03.30.2015 signed by both Corey Kluber and Michael Brantley. They all signed it perfectly!
The communication, care, and customer service of both these guys are top notch!
The Ryan Express
Today I received two different magazines I sent to have Nolan Ryan about a month ago. Nolan Ryan signs via the Nolan Ryan Foundation and is pretty reasonably priced and include his hologram. The magazines I got included:
06.16.1975 Sports Illustrated (first issue)
April 1980 Sport
Both signed beautifully in blue Sharpie!
Great Groat!
Today I received a May, 1961 Sport magazine signed by Dick Groat. Dick was the 1960 NL MVP and has been very kind to me in the past. He did not let me down this time either! He signed it, as he typically does, with “Best Regards” and “1960 N.L. MVP”. He is a great signer for his fans!
