What a Gas!

Today’s autograph in the mail was a while in the making! Back in February, 2022 Michael D reached out to me via a Facebook group asking what he could do to acquire my pair of David Gassner MLB Debut tickets. He said he collect Gassner items and would love these tickets. He told me he had a connection to David via David’s sister. I told him since I have two and if he got them signed and sent me one back he could keep the other. So, a week or so ago Michael met up with David and got him to sign a bunch of items and my ticket was one. It arrived today and is awesome!

Louie, Louie!

I saw a posting on Facebook that stated Louie Varland was signing at the Maplewood Mall here in the Twin Cities. It was a free event. I got up to go and Amy asked what I was doing and told her and she wanted to come along so we headed out. I got a baseball signed and Amy got a 2023 Topps and a 2023 Topps Heritage card signed for me. Louie was awesome. He was so friendly and personable. He said he is already excited for next season! It was a very pleasurable experience for us!

Let’s Go To The Movies!

Today’s autograph additions complete a couple movie tickets… at least as far as they can be signed. Mike C (Mac6185 on SCN) attended a signing with a number of stars and brought along a couple tickets I had. Chauncey Leopardi (Squints) and Patrick Renna (Ham) from “The Sandlot” were signing as was Thomas Ian Nicholas (Henry Rowengartner) from “Rookie of the Year”. I had a Japanese movie ticket signed by all the kids in “The Sandlot” except these two and Benny The Jet but Benny does not sign anything. Mike got both of these guys to complete my Japanese move ticket stub as well as Nicholas to sign a Japanese movie ticket stub as well as an oversized United States premiere ticket stub. I am happy with all of them!

Eddie!

FanHQ is a memorabilia/sports apparel shop here in the Twin Cities. They recently had Edouard Julien in for an autograph signing event. Since it is on the other side of the Twin Cities and kind of a long drive, especially with rush hour traffic, for me, I sent in my items to be signed and they did not disappoint! I sent in a baseball as well as a pair of debut tickets. The tickets were signed perfectly with MLB Debut in silver paint pen and the baseball signed perfectly in blue ink on the sweetspot. Shaun and his crew always do a great job on their signings!
