Dandy Denny

Today I received a pair of Legendary Voices signature cards signed by Denny Matthews. Denny is a broadcaster for Kansas City Royals games and was the 2007 recipient of the Ford Frick Award from the Baseball Hall of Fame. He signed both cards beautifully and included HOF 2007 on each. Thanks Denny!

Cycle

Today I received a pair of signed items in the mail. The first one was a full ticket to Paul Molitor’s cycle game. Mark G (hofcs on SCN) coordinated a signing with Waukesha Sports Cards so I sent in the ticket. Tony S gave me the ticket at Twinsfest this past January and I was excited to see Molly was signing. He signed it with “Cycle” 5/15/91. It looks great.
The other item I received was a signed business card from David Stearns who is the President and GM for the Milwaukee Brewers.

Big Al

Today I received an envelope with some cards in it from Al Worthington. A number of years ago I came across a nice looking pile of his cards and mailed them to him for him to keep. He sent me a message that it was his most favorite card and thanked me. A week or two ago I came across the remaining four cards from that pile. I realized I did not have one signed so I sent them to him with a note that he could keep a pair and if he would sign the other two that would be great. Well, he still must have the originals I sent him because he signed three and mailed all four back to me. Also included was a slightly larger color printout of the card that he also signed. He must really like that card to have made a copy of it to send out. Thanks Al!

Trifecta!

Today I received three packages in the mail. Two contained autographed items and one had a game used baseball I won in an MLB/Twins auction.
The first package contained seven baseballs and two Brian Dozier cards. Chris L (ChrisL999 on SCN) killed it for me the last couple weeks. He got me beautifully signed baseballs from:
Jackson Rutledge
Braden Shewmake
Shea Langeliers
Josh Jung
Cole Winn
Mike Soroka
Cody Bellinger
and the cards by Dozier were 2017 Topps 543 and 2018 Topps Now Opening Day
The next item I opened was an envelope which contained the ticket from Tyler Robertson’s ML Debut game. He signed it and included a nice note how awesome it was to see the ticket.
The final item was a game used baseball which was from Cody Stashak’s ML Debut game. It was a Luke Voit single but more importantly for me it was Cody’s third career strikeout baseball. I hope to get it signed in the near future.
