Today I received a card I purchased from Stan P (stanesq on SCN). It was a 1997 Topps Chuck Knoblauch. Chuck has gone into hiding for the most part in recent years and if he does do a show it is a private signing with exorbitant prices. This card was signed beautifully by Chuck in blue Sharpie. It brought me back to the old bit on the KQ Morning Show when Check was interviewed. It went something like this:
Interviewer: “And you are…”
Chuck: “Chuck Knoblauch!”
Interviewer: “Chuck Knoblauch… Can’t thank you enough for all the time!”
That was the entire interview. Pretty funny.

Oh Balls
Today I received my final package from Paul C in Florida until February. It was three prospects from players who finished up their season playing in the FL instruction league.
The three baseballs are:
Austin Meadows w/”Go Pirates”
Anderson Espinoza
Harold Ramirez
As always, Paul did a great job.
Another package I received was a 1979 Topps Twins Prospects card signed by Kevin Stanfield. Kevin’s autograph finished off the card as it was already signed by Sam Perlozzo and Rick Sofield. This is my second card signed by all three. Kevin signed the card via a private signing by Curtis C (curtisc on SCN) and was signed real nice.
A Pair of Twins
Today I got a couple baseball cards signed by Twins players for my Topps Twins project. The cards were signed while the Twins were in Kansas City a couple weeks ago. Dustin N (Royals_Chiefs on SCN) got Trevor Plouffe and Brian Duensing to sign their 2015 Topps cards. I was afraid if I waited, they might not be on the team next year and thus would not be at Twinsfest. They turned out great and are real nice cards.
Getting Miggy Wit It
Today I received a baseball that I bought that was signed by Miguel Cabrera. I already had one but at $100 for a beautiful one, I could not pass it up. Matt C (campy on SCN) has a connection with Miggy and offered ten baseballs for sale so I jumped on one. He sold out right away. Matt packaged it up perfectly and I could not be happier!
