La Tortuga

Today I received a pair of packages. The first was a numbered Willians Astudillo signed Topps Now post season card. I bought an autographed Topps Now post season set and La Tortuga was the signed card in the set. This is ironic because Willians was not on the post season roster. My card is numbered 10/10.
The other package I received was the first of hopefully many ML Debut tickets I sent out. I found a website that listed all the Major League debut games so I went through my trader list of tickets and found a bunch and sent them out. Bubba Trammell made his ML Debut on April 1, 1997 at the Metrodome. I had this ticket and mailed it to him. He signed it and included a nice note thanking me for the memory. Pretty fun return!

Miller Time

Today I received a pair of items to add to the collection.
The first was a 1968 Topps #534 Bob Miller signed card from Jeff S (jeffnash on SCN). Jeff was splitting up his 1968 almost complete set and he had this card and another I needed. I did not feel like spending over $300 on two cards so I bought one at just over a third of that total. It is the last Bob Miller card I needed for my Twins sets.
The other package was from David B (partrain72 on SCN) who went to a celebrity softball game in Florida and got Mo Vaughn to sign his 10.02.1995 Sports Illustrated.

Sir Rodney

Today I received what I think is one of the best deals I ever got on eBay. I purchased a Rod Carew Perez Steele signed postcard with HOF 91 for $15 plus shipping. I had just purchased an unsigned one to get signed at Twinsfest for $7 so I am pretty excited to have this. It included the ARF signing ticket when it was signed as well.
