Today I received a pair of items I had sent in a while ago for a private signing with Bobby Witt Jr. Al N (milb08 on SCN) planned on having this signing in March but COVID-19 happened and it got pushed back. In the meantime, I saw Bobby was signing via his home so I sent a baseball there and got it back with an inscription. The returns I received today included a baseball without inscription but with JSA authentication and a 07.15.2019 Sports Illustrated with JSA authentication. I am happy to have these items from this up and coming super star!

Walk(er) This Way!
Today I received a Larry Walker signed baseball from TriStar. Not exactly what I wanted but it works. Larry was doing a private signing with TriStar so I sent in my 1993 Sports Illustrated along with the payment back in, I think, about March. With COVID happening and Larry in Canada, the signing was delayed. Earlier this week I received a call that Larry refused to sign the SI. I asked if the money I paid could be put towards a baseball with HOF 2020 and it worked out that I could so I received the SI (unsigned) and the ball today. Since he is a TriStar exclusive, I think the prices will stay high for him so I doubted I would get him any cheaper down the road so I got the ball. I do not know the reason why he would not sign that specific SI but this was the second, and final, time I try.
Going to India
Today I received a pair of baseballs I purchased from Joey S (LegendOfJoey on SCN). He was liquidating some nice baseballs for a great price so I jumped on these. One is a Gary Sheffield TriStar authenticated baseball and the other is Jonathan India. They look awesome.
My Renko Dink Blog
Today I received a baseball from Steve Renko. I had sent my request to him a while ago and wrote off ever getting a ball back. It arrived with a story of his remembrance of the Pine Tar Game. Steve wrote that he was the last one to hold the bat. A fun article written by Hall of Fame writer Murray Chass is found here.
