Well That Took A While!

Today I received a response that was nearly seven years in the making.  Back on 07.24.2009 I mailed three baseball cards to Jimmie Hall for my Twins collection.  Today, April 22, 2016 I received them back signed in blue ink.  They look awesome.  For those of you keeping track at home, that is 2,464 days.  I am pretty excited to have these come back for my collection!

A Nice Mail Day

Today I received a pair of packages in the mail that were real nice.  The first was a package with five Yankee prospect baseballs that Paul C got while he hit a Tampa Yankees game.  He got the following on sweetspots in blue ink:
Vicente Campos
Ian Clarkin
Jorge Mateo
Austin Aune
Miguel Andujar
They look awesome and I am real pleased.  Thanks Paul!

My other package was a Baseball Magazine signed by Don Larsen.  I sent it to him, he signed it and returned it to me all within nine days.  It looks great.  I already have it packaged up to be sent to a Bill Mazeroski private signing in a couple weeks.

A Star and Three Rockets!

Today I received a pair of packages and am pleased with both.  The first was a baseball signed by Starling Marte that I purchased from Chad L (TheChad on SCN).  I tried to get Marte at a Spring Training ballgame in Florida a couple years ago and never even got close.  I am excited to have him finally.

The other package was filled with three Roger Clemens signed Sports Illustrated magazines.  I sent them to his Foundation with his requested fee and received them back signed in blue perfectly.  They look awesome.  The three issues I got back are:
05.12.1986 “Lord of The K’s”
05.13.1991 “Untouchable”
05.24.2004 “Bringing It Home”
I am really excited to have these in the collection and hope to send the four remaining covers I need of him real soon.

What a Start!

Today I received a baseball I sent to Pete Richert.  He signed his name and included the inscription “Struck Out 1st 6 Batters Faced 4/12/62”.  He was brought in to his Major League debut in relief and fanned the first six batters.  Pretty impressive start to his career!
