Today I received a pair of tickets signed by Ozzie Albies. I had sent them in to a signing via Jim D (jdduck on SCN) via BP Sports in Marietta, GA. I had requested one to be signed with ML Debut and the other with just Ozzie’s name. I had asked to have them done with a silver paint pen. Ozzie writes real fast so his name was streaked a little but for the price I cannot complain. Ozzie is a pretty good star in the making!

Making Senzel of it
I have wanted a baseball signed by Nick Senzel for a while but all he signs is “N S” when he signs autographs. I wanted a baseball with his first and last names on it rather than initials. I also had a ticket from his Debut game I wanted signed at some point. I noticed that Armando Montiel from 24/7 Collectibles was having a signing with Nick and offered a limited number of full name signatures. I sent in the ticket and a baseball requesting a full name and an inscription on the ticket. I was not sure what to expect as I had never participated in any of Armando’s signing events but today I received the baseball and ticket signed perfectly. I am real pleased with the items and the cost and customer service Armando provided. I am excited to add these items of an up and coming superstar to my collection!
A Ticket Stieb
Today I received a pair of items in the mail. The first package was four Sports Illustrated magazines signed by Dave Stieb. I had one issue already signed in black Sharpie by Andre Dawson and got Stieb to finish it. I had three other issues in great shape sitting around so I sent those as well. Those were signed in blue Sharpie. I hope to get Dawson on the other three to complete those as well someday.
My other package was a ticket from Rafael Palmeiro’s 3,000th hit game. I already had a season ticket version signed and had acquired a box office ticket along the way. When I saw the Palmeiro was signing via his home for $30 (later lowered to $20), I sent the ticket with a request to inscribe it “3000th Hit” and he did. It arrived today and looks great!
Not Feeling Gip(son)ped Off
Weak way to get Gipson in the title but today I received a debut ticket signed by Charles Gibson. Charles signed the ticket with “MLB Debut” as I requested. This ticket came from my friend Jeff in the batch of Mariners tickets he gave me. This game happened on opening day 1998!
