Today I received a really neat item that I was a little afraid to send via mail. Nate Rupp (Baseball Signings group on Facebook) had a signing with Greg Maddux and I got my 300 win baseball signed. Greg signed it with “355 W’s” in the exact location I requested. It looks great. There is only one living 300 game winner I need on the baseball and that is Nolan Ryan with 324. I sent a magazine to get signed by Mad Dog as well. I expect that to arrive this week still.
Another package I received was my Brendan McKay debut ticket. Joey H (jhenderson1675 on SCN) had a signing with McKay and I sent in my ticket. I had requested, and paid for, an inscription of MLB Debut 06.30.2019 but did not get it. That happens sometimes. I would have liked it on this ticket because it was a make up date and the date on the ticket is the day before (but this ticket was good for admission on the 30th) but it did not work out.

A Grand(al) Day!
Today’s mail brought a pair of debut tickets signed by Yasmani Grandal. BM Authentics (Brian Meltzer owns it) had a signing and I sent in a pair of tickets. I had a season ticket I requested signed in silver paint pen with MLB Debut and just his name on the box office. I gotta say, the season ticket with the inscription is PERFECT! Absolutely breathtaking how it turned out! Kudos to Brian and his crew!
A First
Today I received a baseball of what some might say is a baseball pioneer. In mid-November, 2020, Kim Ng was hired by the Florida Marlins to become the first female general manager in baseball history. I sent her a baseball via the team requesting her autograph and inscription of “1st MLB Female GM” and she did not disappoint.
The other package I received was a pair of items from a private signing that Jake R (Kowbyz8 on SCN) had with Randy Arozarena. I got a baseball and debut ticket (with ML Debut inscription) both JSA’d signed at the event.
Who’s Your Vladdy?
Today I received something that has been out a while. Last season I missed sending in a debut ticket from Vladimir Guerrero’s Major League debut to a signing. I heard the promoter (Jamie B- jamieblye on SCN) was going to have another signing with him at some point during the off season. I think because of COVID it was delayed until the start of Spring Training. It showed up signed with just his name. I had paid for an inscription but it turned out he was only signing his name this time so I received a refund on the inscription fee. I now have a signed debut ticket from both Vladimir Guerrero Sr and Jr!
