Today’s addition to the collection is a pretty special one. On 04.08.2022, Rachael Balkovec made history by becoming the first female manager in professional baseball when she led the Tampa Bay Tarpons in their season opener. Creative Sports Entertainment had a signing scheduled with her earlier this month and I had sent in a pair of items via Matthew Eric on Facebook. The items I received today were signed PERFECTLY and the organization of CSE was impressive. I received a baseball signed on the sweetspot with “1st Female Manager” as well as a ticket from the Tarpons @ Flying Tigers game signed in beautiful silver paint pen with “1st Female Manager”. I got JSA witness on both items. They look perfect! I am very pleased with these items.

King Felix
A while ago a friend of mine sent me a bunch of his Mariners tickets from over the years. One of them in the group was a Felix Hernandez first career win ticket. Dan Heyer (Desert Autographs) had a signing with Felix and I sent in the ticket. Felix provided a real large signature on the ticket along with “1st MLB Win”. It looks awesome!
Go West Young Man
Like him or hate him, Joe West will be a Hall of Famer some day. What he did for baseball is legendary. Todd S (toddschafer on SCN) and his company Under The Radar Sports Promotions had a signing with West and today I received the items I sent in for it. I received a pair of baseballs, one with just Joe’s name on it and the other with his name and “5460 MLB Games Umpired”, and a ticket from August 15th, 2018. The ticket is from the game when Joe umpired his 5,164th MLB game when he passed the previous second place all time leader for games umpired (Bruce Froemming). This game was at Target Field. I had asked for an inscription on it but it was missed. I will resend it back to have Joe add the inscription.
DeeeeeeeeLux!
Todays mail included a pair of items I had sent out. The first was a debut ticket, inscribed with “MLB Debut” and a baseball signed by Gavin Lux. Luis B at oneway77jc.com had Gavin in for a signing and inked up my items. I am pleased with everything Luis and his crew has taken care of for me. One Way even got a photo of Gavin signing my ticket!
The other package was a baseball I sent to Dave Schneck. Dave was on the Mets team when they played the Pirates when Roberto Clemente got his 3000th hit. I recently sent out a handful of baseballs surrounding Clemente’s hit and this is the first I got back. Dave did inscribe it with Roberto Clemente’s 3000th Hit but did not write about his memory of the event.
