A Royally Nice Magazine

Today I received my 1986 Royals Triumph Sports Illustrated that was signed by Steve Balboni from Mike C (luckymike32 on SCN).  There was a Royals Alumni event in KC that he attended and was able to get Frank White, Willie Wilson, and Daryl Motley added to it.  It looks great and Mike has done a great job for me in the past and I hope to work with him again down the road.  Thanks Mike!

Hey Coach!

Today I received my 09.27.2010 Sports Illustrated back from a private signing that Jeff F (haleysdaddy0304 on SCN) had with Jerry White.  My SI was already signed by Jim Thome so to add Jerry was really nice.  I had an issue already that was signed by Jerry and Thome but the Thome autograph was not one of his best.  Since this issue is one of my favorite covers, I wanted a better one.  I traded the other one a few months ago and kept the one I had of just Thome.  Jeff made sure Jerry signed it in the perfect spot and it looks great!

The Dr Is In

Today I received a pair of packages in the mail.  The first was a 02.27.1995 Sports Illustrated magazine signed by Doc Gooden.  I thought I had all the issues signed by Doc but found that I had this issue but the Canada version and needed the USA version so I found a real nice newsstand copy and sent it to Cardboard Promotions (Doug Keating- 4192HITS on SCN) for his signing last weekend with Doc.  The Canada version is signed in silver paint pen and it looks nice but I wanted to do something different with this one so I went with gold.  It turned out great!

The other package I received today was some baseballs and baseball cards I purchased Jordan S (jordan23royals on SCN).  They were:

All are signed BEAUTIFULLY and I hope to get back to Jordan again soon to purchase more items from him!
