Today I met up with Vinnie M (vinniemiller on SCN). Vinnie swung by our hotel in AZ to drop off most of what he got signed for me so far in spring training. He still had to sort out the cards but got me most of the other items he completed. It was really cool to meet Vinnie as I he has been getting things signed for me for more than a few years now. He was everything you could imagine. He was so nice and personable. I really appreciate guys like Vinnie who I really trust and who really puts in the work to get things signed for me. Pearce Me!
Today I received a beautifully signed Sports Illustrated from 11.05.2018 signed in gold paint pen by Steve Pearce. Steve S (cosmo on SCN) went to the Red Sox Winterfest and got Steve to sign my SI. Steve S has helped me out a lot over the years. He came through again! Thanks Steve(s)!
Klesko
Today I received my Sports Illustrated magazine I sent to Jim D (jdduck on SCN) for a signing he was having with Ryan Klesko. Ryan is featured on the cover of the 11.06.1995 Sports Illustrated magazine where the Braves players are mobbing each other after winning the World Series. It was signed in a the perfect location with a perfect marker! Thanks Jim!
Old McDonald Signed My SI, E-I-E-I-O
Today I received my 07.18.1994 Sports Illustrated magazine signed by Ben McDonald. I had previously gotten Mike Mussina to sign it and needed Ben to complete it. I recently saw that Tim V (Sigs4Soldiers on SCN) had a contact with Ben and I messaged asking if I could send my SI to get signed along with a sizable donation. Today I received it signed beautifully! It is awesome! To date, Tim has raised over $40,000 for Military Missions In Action through his Sigs4Soldiers program!
