Oh Balls

Today I received my final package from Paul C in Florida until February.  It was three prospects from players who finished up their season playing in the FL instruction league.
The three baseballs are:
Austin Meadows w/”Go Pirates”
Anderson Espinoza
Harold Ramirez
As always, Paul did a great job.

Another package I received was a 1979 Topps Twins Prospects card signed by Kevin Stanfield.  Kevin’s autograph finished off the card as it was already signed by Sam Perlozzo and Rick Sofield.  This is my second card signed by all three.  Kevin signed the card via a private signing by Curtis C (curtisc on SCN) and was signed real nice.

Foulke It

Today I received a pair of items.  The first was a Time Magazine signed by Keith Foulke that I sent into a signing with Doug Keating of CardboardPromotions.com.  He had Keith sign it perfectly.

My other item was a 2015 Topps Chris Parmelee card signed perfectly in blue.  I got this card from Kevin H (justcrazy on SCN).

All in all a real nice day of mail!

Manny Being Manny Going for Gold

Today I picked up a box with three Sports Illustrated magazines I had sent to Donnie D (macey225 on SCN) who was going to the National.  I mailed him my 1980 US Olympic Hockey team SI to get Mark Johnson on it (I am now down to needing just John Pavelich) as well as two Manny Ramirez SI’s.  I had read where Manny was signing things really crappy so I was a little nervous on what signature I would get on them.  Turns out Donnie hit a grand slam for me.  The signature versions I got, especially his first SI cover, look pretty good compared to what I had seen.  He also took care of getting Swartz Sports holograms on them exactly where I wanted them.
