Today I received a package from Todd S (toddschafer on SCN) who had a private signing with Maikel Franco. He got Maikel to sign his debut ticket with “ML Debut”. It turned out awesome!

Cutch 22
Today I received a pair of magazines I had sent in to a Pirates signing event put on by Hunt Auctions which featured Andrew McCutchen. I never sent to them for anything so I was a little curious to see how it would go but I was blown away. The communication throughout was as perfect as were the autographed magazines! Lisa W did a great job in getting my items signed and back to me.
The Sports Illustrated issues I got signed were dated 09.09.2013 and 09.08.2014.
Cutch is one of the favorite non-Twins players in our household so we are all excited to add him to the collection!
Gettin’ Miggy Wit’ It
Today I received a really cool Sports Illustrated. I had sent it to Brad C (THEKID1 on SCN) for an event where Miguel Cabrera was going to be signing autographs. The price was steep but I figured if I was to get my 10.29.2012 regional issue SI signed by Miggy, this was my shot. Brad did an awesome job! It was signed perfectly and I could not be happier adding this future hall of famer’s autograph to the collection!
A Phil But Not For Long
Today I received a Sports Illustrated signed by Ryan Howard of the Phillies. He is probably going to be out of baseball at the end of this season but he did manage to have a private signing with Todd Schafer a couple weeks ago. Todd had my 11.2.2009 SI signed in blue Sharpie. I was hoping for a decent autograph since this was a sit down paid signing. If it is, Howard’s signature is worse than I thought!
