Today I received two different magazines I sent to have Nolan Ryan about a month ago. Nolan Ryan signs via the Nolan Ryan Foundation and is pretty reasonably priced and include his hologram. The magazines I got included:
06.16.1975 Sports Illustrated (first issue)
April 1980 Sport
Both signed beautifully in blue Sharpie!
Category: Non-SI Magazine
Great Groat!
Today I received a May, 1961 Sport magazine signed by Dick Groat. Dick was the 1960 NL MVP and has been very kind to me in the past. He did not let me down this time either! He signed it, as he typically does, with “Best Regards” and “1960 N.L. MVP”. He is a great signer for his fans!
Spring Has Sprung!
Today I received another box of items from Spring Training. This time is was from Arizona and it was filled with items that Kent B (doggle3 on SCN) got for me. All are great except that Salvador Perez decided to sign on part of the post it note so I will have to get that one done again. This was the first package of items Kent got for me in Arizona. He is down there until the end of Spring Training so I will get another package from him before Opening Day!
In today’s box was:
2010 Allen & Ginter #145 Jim Thome
2011 Topps #614 Jim Thome
Yasiel Puig ML Debut Ticket
Jorge Soler ML Debut Ticket
Starlin Castro ML Debut Ticket
Mike Olt ML Debut Ticket
Trevor Bauer ML Debut Ticket with”MLB Debut”

Kent continues to do a great job on all my baseball autograph needs. I always look forward to his pictures he posts on SCN of what he and Ethan get signed for everyone and love looking for one of my items.
Thanks for your continued efforts Kent!
Vacation Mail Day
One part of coming home that was actually fun was seeing all the mail piled up in the house. My in-laws are awesome and not only watched the crazy dog for us but also got the mail each day and kept watch of things at home. Going through the mail yielded the following items:
- Joc Peterson signed baseball I sent in to a private signing with this top prospect via Lojo Sports
- Bill Mazeroski to complete my 1961 Dell Sports Baseball Magazine. It has Maz, Whitey Ford, Bobby Richardson and Hal Smith on it and looks awesome.
- Roger Clemens, Frank Thomas, and Juan Lagares signed baseballs via a promotion Leaf Authentics ran at a nice price.
It was a nice run of mail to go through!
