May Day!

Trevor May pitched for the Twins for six seasons before playing a pair with the Mets and a final season with the A’s. While with the Twins, he frequently streamed his video game playing and had some cool interactions with fans. I have followed him since his deejaying days when he went by “Mazer.”
In 2020, Topps Now put out a card of some baseball players who were into video games and Trevor was one of them. I mailed him a pair with a request he sign one and keep the other. He did and I received it today! It is card number TSPT-3 and he signed it in black Sharpie which looks great on this card!

My Colon!

On April 18, 2012, Bartolo Colon had a heck of a game throwing strikes. At one point, he threw thirty-eight straight strikes and for the game he threw eighty-two out of his one hundred two pitches for strikes. Who knows if this record will be broken but for now, I enjoyed obtaining a ticket and sending it to Chris R (rifon on SCN) to have it signed at a recent signing. Bartolo included “38 straight strikes” on it as well. Fun little ticket!
