Today I received a package of a few items I bought from Jonathan M (dabulls on SCN) of things I did not have but thought they were cool. The first was a Jim Bunning HOF postcard. What I liked about this one was that it had HOF 96 on it and it was signed boldly in blue Sharpie across the top. Another item I bought was a Bob Feller 8×10 photo. Yes, I have about a zillion Bob Feller photos but this one is a pose I did not have. It is a picture of him flipping a baseball in the air. He signed it and then inside the baseball he wrote “HOF ’62”. I always liked that pose and am surprised I never got one signed before. Heck, I don’t even collect photos but I bought it on a whim. The last thing in the envelope was a signed umpire card of Rick Reed from the 2004 Bowman Heritage set. Rick is from the same fraternity I was/am a member of and I know my friend Shane would love this card so when I saw it, I had to get it for him. He doesn’t read this so it won’t ruin anything but I plan on sending the card to him. He will get a kick out of it.

Foulke It
Today I received a pair of items. The first was a Time Magazine signed by Keith Foulke that I sent into a signing with Doug Keating of CardboardPromotions.com. He had Keith sign it perfectly.
My other item was a 2015 Topps Chris Parmelee card signed perfectly in blue. I got this card from Kevin H (justcrazy on SCN).
All in all a real nice day of mail!
He Ain’t a Booger!
Today I received a package from Allen S (autographal on SCN) which contained two Sports Illustrated magazines he got signed by Boog Powell for me. They turned out AWESOME and Boog completed both of the magazines with the 10.19.1970 issue being signed already by Lee May, Bernie Carbo, Elrod Hendricks, Tony Perez and Brooks Robinson. The 10.06.1969 SI was already signed by Frank Robinson and is now complete with Mr Powell on it. I am really pleased with how each turned out and the great care Allen put towards my items. Thanks Al!
Double Your Fun
Today I got a Sports Illustrated I bought from Vinnie M (vinniemiller on SCN) who lives in the Seattle area. I had just sent him a box of items to get signed from the visiting teams to Seattle and today the SI arrived. It is signed by both Robinson Cano and Felix Hernandez. It is one of the versions from this season’s baseball preview issues. It looks great! Thanks Vinnie!
