I was recently going through a pile of older tickets and came across a nice stack of 1987 ALDS FULL tickets from Tiger Stadium. I decided to send a Game 5 ticket to Tom Brunansky who hit a home run in that game in which the Twins won the American League title and headed to the World Series. I also had found a photo of Tom from the early 1980’s when he was swinging at the plate in the old powder blue uniform. Today I received both with Tom signing the photo with #24 and the ticket with “HOMERUN” and “’87 AL Champs”. I love the ticket! Great memories for me and I am sure for him too as he signed it! Thanks Tom!

Today I received a pair of Topps Now cards signed by Rod Carew via a private signing with Tom O (orr23mj on SCN). They turned out great but poor Rod’s autograph is not nearly as strong as it once was. I am glad he is able to sign though. These are awesome additions to my collection!

Today I received a signed Hall of Fame plaque postcard signed by Tim Raines. I bought it as one of Tom O’s (orr23mj on SCN) Black Friday deals.

Today I received a baseball signed by Terry Ryan. Terry was the Twins General Manager when they signed Joe Mauer. With Joe retiring, I thought it would be cool to have a story ball signed about signing him. Unfortunately what I received was not a story except that it said “Drafted Joe Mauer #1 2001 Free Agent Draft”. I guess there is a story in there!
