The Kid, The Hawk, and The Killer

Today I received a pair of packages of some autographed items I bought.
The first was a Ken Griffey Jr autographed Hall of Fame plaque postcard from Mill Creek Sports.  I thought it was at a price point I could not pass up.  It was Tristar and Beckett authenticated.
The other package was from Jonathan M (dabulls on SCN) which had a Killebrew Root Beer promotional photo signed by Harmon Killebrew and the other was a 07.20.1987 Sports Illustrated magazine signed by Andre Dawson and was MLB authenticated.
All in all it was a pretty cool day of mail to pick up three Hall of Famer autographs!

Tim Paw

Today I received something I sent out back on April 2, 2017.  I was at the Twins game on May 25, 2006 when then MN Governor Tim Pawlenty signed the bill that allowed the funding for the Twins stadium to go ahead which eventually led to Target Field being built.  I came across the pair of tickets I had for that game this spring and thought it would be cool to have Tim sign it.  I did not have his address so I cross referenced it with his spouse via a Google search and sent it off.  Today it arrived with a short note on my letter.  Pretty unique item for the collection!

Between a Rocco and a Hard Place

Today I received a couple packages I had sent out to have signed.

The first package contained a pair of tickets that Rocco Baldelli signed.  Doug Keating had Rocco in as a signing guest and I mailed in a pair of tickets that were signed with inscriptions:
04.30.2003 stub with “1st MLB HR”
07.22.2004 full ticket with “1st MLB Grand Slam”
They look cool and Doug does a great job with his signings.

The other package was a request I sent to Bernie Carbo to sign a baseball with his memories of hitting the game tying home run in Game 6 of the 1975 World Series.  What I received was more of a testimonial baseball as he has found Christ and it basically turned his life around.
