I met Ben W years ago at Twinsfest. We did a couple trades if memory serves me right over the years. Ben moved to England recently and reached out that he was planning on selling his collection and wanted to see if I was interested in anything. I went through his list and picked some out. He still had a couple of the tickets at his parents’ home in the Twin Cities and some with him in England. Today I received three of my purchase that were from his parents. Today’s part included:

A Major League Minnesotan
Today was super cool. While on vacation, I attended the Washington Nationals game. What made it cooler was the I attended with Chris L (ChrisL999 on SCN) and his wife. Chris and I did some ‘graphing before the game by the Marlins dugout. I was hoping for fellow Minnesotan Max Meyer but he did not come out of the dugout before the game. Connor Norby, however, did. I got Connor to sign a baseball for me. It was pretty fun to see Chris in action and to get Connor on a ball. I should be getting a box of signed baseballs from Chris soon as he has been getting a bunch of balls signed for me all season so far! It was really fantastic to attend the game and meet Chris. He is a cool dude!
All Arraez!
Luis Arraez was a huge fan favorite when he played for the Twins and still is even on his third team since then. Fan HQ set up a signing with him so I sent in my last three cards I needed and received them back signed perfectly! I received:

A Super Return
Jim Perry won the 1970 AL Cy Young award while pitching for the Twins. I sent him a 1971 Topps Super card to sign. Today I received it. He signed it real nice but forgot the zero in his “1970 Cy Young” inscription. Oh well. Close enough!
