Some Twins

Today I received the first package from the few guys I trust who went to spring training. This package came from Fort Myers and had a bunch of Twins in it. Matt H (mattyice on SCN) lives in the Fort so he was able to get to a bunch of early workouts for me. This is my second spring sending him items and I am very pleased with what he got for me. Those items are:
Ryan Jeffers – OMLB
Lewis Thorpe – 1st Win ticket with “First ML W”
Luis Arraez – Triple play ticket from 07.22.2019
Randy Dobnak – Ticket with “1st MLB Save”
Alex Kirilloff – 2019 Bowman Next T15
Jake Cave – 2019 Gypsy Queen 156 & 2019 Topps Now Postseason
Jorge Polanco – 2019 Topps Now 4/5 & 2019 Topps Now 7/7 (said he remembered the play on the 7/7 card)
Marwin Gonzalez – 2019 Topps Heritage 553 & 2019 Topps Now Postseason
Max Kepler – 2019 Topps Now 7/21
Michael Pineda – 2019 Topps Heritage 662
Miguel Sano – 2017 Gypsy Queen 190
Mitch Garver – 2020 Topps 210 & 2020 Topps 18
Royce Lewis – 2019 Bowman Next T9
Matt did a fantastic job on my items! Thanks Matt!

It’s Killer Rob!

I was going through my signed business cards a week or so ago and noticed the one I had for my buddy Rob was from the Metrodome days. I emailed him and told him I needed to upgrade to a Target Field one. I figured I would get one next time I saw him. Well, today he surprised me with a signed business card. He even inscribed it with “0 Hits” (although that is not the case as he provided me a number of hits over the years). What makes this card really, really cool is that he signed it with a marker that Harmon Killebrew gave to him after he assisted at Twinsfest or the Autograph Party or some event like that. When Harmon was done signing he gave his marker (a Steadtler F point blue) to Rob and he has kept it all these years and used it to sign the card. THAT is pretty Killer!

Pretty Fulgy of Him

Today I received a 1981 Topps card signed by John Fulgham. It is not what I wanted. I sent a ticket to John from his Major League debut game along with the $5 he requires per autograph and a new Sharpie paying the extra in postage, etc. He kept my ticket and sent me the card. I am pretty disappointed since he has a fee for his autograph. I was going to send it back and ask for my $5 back but then I would be out the cost of postage and he probably would not send anything back. #ClownMove
