Today I received a Wade Boggs baseball I had sent to him a week or so ago. I included a $50 check for his favorite charity and requested a number of inscriptions. I got the ball with one inscription. It was HOF 05 but I had hoped for about 10 others to be included for the amount of my donation. Oh well.
Kevin, I wonder if he even saw it? I bet it was handled by staff and they shipped back the closest ball they had to you, I could be wrong but I am guessing that is what happened.
Maybe you are right Mike but I think he is a one man shop doing this. I am ok with it but I wanted something unique so I sent a lot more money than the typical $5-$10 that people send for the same thing. Oh well. At least he returned it!
