The Great Nils Lofgren!

Back on 3/10/2012, I sent a few Nils Lofgren and Bruce Springsteen albums to Rob H (skinsxvii on SCN).  Rob is married to Nils’ niece and told me he would be able to get him at some point when he came home for Christmas or on tour out East or wherever.  Today, I received all but a pair of items I mailed to him to get signed.  Rob is awesome.  He kept me posted throughout all the time with what was going on.  Turns out he was able to get him a couple weeks ago when Nils had a concert in Maryland and Rob had backstage passes.  He got everything signed for me except for a pair of items that he had at the bottom of his packaging.  He said he will get those signed next time he sees him.  This was my first autograph of a musician and one of my favorite E Street Band members.  Rob got signed the following for me:

Since I mailed those items to Rob, Cami got to see Nils and the rest of the band when they were at the Xcel Arena as part of the Wrecking Ball tour.  Cami wants me to send her program to Rob to get signed for her collection.  We will see…

Balls & Cards

Today I received a pair of packages.  The first one was the remaining items Lou R (signatures on SCN) got me in spring training.  There were a bunch of cards in this package for my Twins project!  The cards are:

A Peanut Farmer’s Bell

Today I received a pair of items with one being baseball related.

The first package contained a Chris Colabello cowbell that was given away at a Twins game early last year.  I sent it to Lou R (signatures on SCN) and he got it signed during Spring Training.  He also got a bunch of other stuff for me that he is sending.

The other package was a pair of books I bought at Half Price Books that were written by Jimmy Carter.  I thought it would be neat to have a couple president autographs in the collection so I thought I would try him.  I received them both back with a signed bookplate affixed inside each one.
