Three’s A Crowd

Today I received three packages of signed baseball goodies.  I am pretty excited about all three!

The first was an envelope of signed tickets that Steve S (cosmo on SCN) got signed for me at the Boston Red Sox Winterfest event.  Steve did a fantastic job on a real tough signing team.  He got the following tickets signed:
Andrew Benintendi- Debut Ticket
Eduardo Rodriguez- Debut Ticket w/”MLB Debut”
Blake Swihart- Debut Ticket w/”MLB” (I guess he does not know how to spell debut???)
Sam Travis- 2 @ Debut Ticket both with “MLB Debut”
Steve even included a signed bonus card of Cosmo!

The next package I received was a magazine I had sent to Dave Parker via Past Pros.  Dave signed my June 1979 Sport magazine.  It turned out great.

The final box I opened was three baseballs that Chris L (ChrisL999 on SCN) sent me that I purchased from him.  Chris does a great job on hard to get prospects and these are nice baseballs to add to the collection especially after Baseball America released their Top 100 Prospects list last week.  These baseballs are:
Brendan Rodgers
Estevan Florial
Alec Hansen

It was a pretty good mail day for the old baseball collection!

Joe Joe

Today I met up with Nick K who had some items he got signed for me at the end of the Twins season.  Nick takes care of a lot of the Twins visiting teams for me.  Today’s package had:
Joe Mauer – 2017 Topps Heritage 220
Joe Mauer – 2017 Gypsy Queen 116
Kyle Gibson – 2016 Topps Heritage 112
Can’t wait until next year!

That’s The Ticket!

Today I received my final package of the regular season from Vinnie M (vinniemiller on SCN).  Vinnie was one of just a couple guys I sent items to throughout the year to get signed.  I am lucky to have guys I can trust who do a fantastic job.  Vinnie is one of those guys.
Today’s package included:
Dallas Kuechel Debut ticket
Luis Severino Debut ticket
Thanks Vinnie for all the success this season and helping me with my collection!

A Couple Hall of Famers

Today I received a pair of signed items and both were from Hall of Famers.  The first was my HOF Postcard I sent to Bud Selig.  It game back all bubbled.  Pretty disappointing.  I guess I did not prep it well enough.
The second package made up for it though.  I had sent four cards I needed signed by Rod Carew for my Twins card sets to David G (FinFan1972 on SCN) who attended a signing he was at.  The cards David got signed for me are:
2016 Topps Now 248
2016 Gypsy Queen 328
2017 Allen & Ginter 79
2017 Gypsy Queen 315
I now have all Carew Twins cards made by Topps, Gypsy Queen, Allen & Ginter, and Topps Now.
