A Twinning Day!

Today I received a couple packages of Twins autographed items.  The first was my baseball I sent to Cory Provus to write his call about Joe Mauer’s first walk off home run.  I took some extra time on my letter to him and he graciously signed the ball and wrote a note thanking me for the nice note.
The other package was from TheChad (Chad L on SCN) who finished up some items for me with the Twins in Rochester.  Chad got the following items signed for me:
Byung-Ho Park ML Debut ticket
Jose Berrios ML Debut ticket with “ML Debut”
Byung-Ho Park 2016 Topps Update US65
Kyle Gibson 2015 Topps Heritage 246
Both packages made me really excited to have the items added to my collection!

The Chicago Cubs Win The World Series!

Who would believe that the 2016 World Champions would be the Chicago Cubs?  What a great series and gift to the long suffering fans.  Today I received a baseball signed by Cubs broadcaster Pat Hughes who signed the ball with his call of the final out of Game 7 when the Cubs became champions.  It looks awesome.  Thanks Pat!

Not A Thorne In My Side

Today I received a baseball signed by Gary Thorne.  He was kind enough to write his call on a baseball of the 2001 World Series Game 5 home run by Scott Brosius that tied the game.  At the time it was an important home run as it tied the game in the bottom of the 9th inning.  The Yankees ended up winning the game in the 12 inning but Arizona got the last laugh as they won Game 7.

“Back It Goes! It’s Gone!”

Today I received a baseball signed by Cory Provus which he wrote his call of Max Kepler’s first home run (which happened to be his first career HR).  This is the second walk off call ball I have in my collection from Mr Provus.  He graciously signed his Kennys Vargas call from last season for me too.  I love the walk off home run moments and appreciate Cory taking the time to write them on my baseball.
