A LOT of Fun!

Today I received a lot of signed cards I won in a Clean Sweep auction.  The lot contained 22 cards and I really only needed/wanted one of them… the 1965 Cesar Tovar card is the final card I need from the 1965 Topps Twins set and it was one of hte 22.  I overpaid for just wanting that one card but figured I could trade or sell the others I got.  All the cards were from the early to mid-1960s and had mostly deceased players in it.  All cards were certified by JSA and had a sticker and card for each.  I am pleased with the card and the opportunity to complete my set!

So So So So Cool

Today I received a pretty neat item.  Chris L (ChrisL999 on SCN) got a ticket from Juan Soto’s ML Debut game signed for me.  The ticket is from 5/20/2018.  The reason I say what the date was, and if you look up Soto’s ML Debut game, you will find the records have the date as 5/15/2018.  Five days before the date on the ticket I have.  The reason for this is that the first ML game Soto played in was on 5/20.  Later in the season the Nationals finished a postponed game from 5/15 and Soto made an appearance in that game.  So, while his first game in the Major League was on 5/20, it shows 5/15 because he appeared in the conclusion of that game.  Crazy, I know.
