Another Pile of Rookies!

Today I received a package with five baseballs that I had my friend Paul C get from the minor league teams in Florida who visit Ft Myers.  Paul has gotten me a ton of baseballs and do a great job.  The baseballs in today’s package are:
Javier Betancourt w/”Go Tigers”
Grayson Griener w/”Go Tigers!”
Garrett Whitley w/”2015 1st Round”
Willy Adames
Brent Honeywell w/”Go Rays”
Thanks Paul!

Luis The Future Yankee Star

Today I received my baseball that Dustin K (bigvig56 on SCN) got signed for me at his local Steiner Sports appearance of Luis Severino.  Luis is going to be a stud in the Yankees pitching staff in a couple years.  I was excited to get him before his prices skyrocket.  I also got a debut ticket signed that I will receive in the mail shortly.  Dustin took care of my baseball and got it signed perfectly.  Thanks Dustin!

Boggin’ Me Down

Today I received a Wade Boggs baseball I had sent to him a week or so ago.  I included a $50 check for his favorite charity and requested a number of inscriptions.  I got the ball with one inscription.  It was HOF 05 but I had hoped for about 10 others to be included for the amount of my donation.  Oh well.

Rookies and History

Today I received a pair of packages.  The first one was a package with seven prospects my friend Paul C got me from the minor league teams in Florida.  It contained:
Stephen Gonsalves w/”Go Twins”
Nick Burdi w/”Go Twins!”
Matt Imhof w/”Go Phillies”
Ricardo Pinto
Chih-Wei Hu with his name in Taiwanese also
Jarlin Garcia
Amir Garrett w/”Go Reds!”
As always, Paul does a great job and I cannot wait for his next package!

My other package was a do-over with Hall of Fame broadcaster Marty Brennaman.  I had sent to him a couple years ago for his call on Pete Rose’s 4192nd hit and he returned it but it was signed in a black felt tip marker.  I know that baseballs signed with felt tip markers usually always end up bleeding.  I was told that spraying the baseballs preserves them so I tried it.  What ended up happening was the ink really bled and make the ball look less than ideal.  I sent him another request, with another donation of course, along with pictures of the baseball and kindly asked if he would do another.  I got it back today and it looks real nice!
