Mollie

I noticed Paul Molitor was signing via his residence for $10 per card so I sent a pair of Fleer Greats of the Game (2001 & 2002) along with a $20 bill and got them back today. Nice return from a local HOFer!

The Moose Is Loose!

Today I received a pair of packages I mailed out for the fun of it. It was a nice mail day. The first was a Hall of Fame postcard of Mike Mussina. Mike does not disappoint as long as you send a nominal fee. The other was an 8×10 photo from Don Larsen of the first pitch of his 1956 World Series Perfect Game. He signed it “1956 WS PG 10-8-56”. I normally do not collect photos but this was a cool picture of a cool moment in baseball history.

Fabulous Fisk

Today I received an awesome return of a pair of Sports Illustrated magazines from 9/24/2018 from Carlton Fisk. The cover features Bucky Dent hitting his famous home run off the Red Sox. The photo shows Don Denkinger, Bucky Dent, Carlton Fisk, and Mike Torrez. I have it signed by everyone but Torrez now. Carlton signed it perfectly for a nice donation to his favorite charity, The Cancer Support Center. I am excited to have a pair of magazines almost done by all four of the players on the cover!

An Auction Win

I recently signed up for Mile High Card Company’s auctions when they had a lot of older Twins ticket stubs for sale. I did not win it but the next auction that rolled around had a 1969 Topps card I needed for my collection. I won a PSA encapsulated Jerry Crider card. I received it today.
Also in the mail was a business card signed by Brodie Van Wagenan. Brodie is the EVP & GM for the Mets.
