I am your father, Luke!

Today was the second season ticket holder signing event of the summer for the Minnesota Twins. It featured Kody Clemens and Luke Keaschall. Amy and I got to the ballpark a little late due to unexpected road traffic but we were in time. Kody signed a baseball for each of us and Luke signed a pair of Topps Now cards and a ticket and inscribed “1st MLB Walkoff HR”. Everything was great and it was a fun little outing. I gave my brother a Clemens ball and one of the Topps Now cards which he appreciated.

Well Played Mauer

Yesterday I got a notice that I had a package at the Post Office to sign for. I sent my SASE with signature confirmation for Fan HQ’s signing with Joe Mauer due to the value of the items inside of it. I wanted to make sure I got it. During lunch today I went to the Post Office and picked it up. As always, Fan HQ does an amazing job on items. I got the following today:
2024 Topps Heritage #205
2024 Allen & Ginter #190
MLB 11 The Show with Joe on the cover and “Well Played Mauer”
06.06.2004 ticket with “1st MLB HR”
06.10.2010 ticket with “Behind Net Catch”
08.05.2023 ticket with “2023 Twins HOF”
I am over the top excited to add these to my collection!

“Back It Up Ter’!”

Curtis Terry was a member of the Twins for a very short time but long enough to have a Gypsy Queen card made. He never played at the Major League level but did in St Paul (AAA). He was long gone by the time the card came out if I recall correctly. I found that he was currently playing for the Lexington Legends and found Cameron F (camgraphs7 on SCN) who said he would work on getting him to sign my cards so I sent him a pair of 2022 Gypsy Queen cards #181. Today they arrived perfectly signed, although his signature is basically CT2. I am excited to knock this one off the need list!

Jax of All Trades

The Twins had a season ticket holder event today where we could get Griffin Jax and Matt Wallner’s autographs. So, my brother and I headed down to the ballpark with our items and pens!
I ended up getting a Jax OMLB and two Matt Wallner cards, both 2025 Topps, #547 and #688. All turned out great and both guys were cool. It was a fun event and I cannot wait to see who is there for the August session!
