A Couple Twins

Today’s mail brought a couple cards that I bought from Cole L (ColeL33 on SCN). They are:
2017 Eddie Rosario (I just noticed I already had)
1998 Pat Meares
The Meares is the last card I need to complete my Twins team set for 1998. Unfortunately I did not realize it was a limited version with a Hall of Fame foil stamp on it and I do not collect that version. HOWEVER, Cole had the regular issue available and I picked up that one just now. I should have it in a week and then that team set will be done!

Hip Hip Jose!

FanHQ had a signing with Jose Miranda today. I had acquired some tickets to his ML Debut game and had a few Topps Now cards so I decided to purchase tickets for his autograph and inscriptions and make the almost hour drive to the FanHQ store for the signing tonight. There were not many people at the event and I got there about a half hour before he was supposed to start signing. When I got to the table is was cool because Shaun, the owner of FanHQ, told Jose I liked to collect milestone tickets and spoke briefly of a focus of my collection. Jose then signed three tickets for me as well as three Topps Now cards. They turned out great. Shaun and his crew do a fantastic job on events like this. I could not be more pleased with how everything turned out.
