Not Free
My friend Nick K stopped by today to drop off some items he got signed for me the last few weeks. He went to Milwaukee for the Rockies/Brewers playoff series and got Kyle Freeland on a baseball for me. When the Tigers visited the Twins the last week of the season, he was able to get Grayson Greiner to sign a debut ticket with “MLB Debut”. Nick did a great job for me over the season and I cannot wait to work with him again next season!
Worth the Wait
Today I received a pair of items to add to the collection. The first was nearly a year in the making. I had sent an Alex Verdugo debut ticket to a signing almost a year ago. For some reason, there were a few people who had items that got missed. The next signing with this promoter and Alex was this past Saturday. Today I received my 09.01.2017 debut ticket signed with “MLB Debut 9/1/17” and am pleased.
The other package was a 2018 Topps #115 Zack Granite signed card that I bought from Mike P (soxautographs29 on SCN). Not a bad day of mail!
You’re Flipping Me
Within the last year or so, my buddy Steve mailed me a bunch of his tickets from Cardinals and other games he has attended. He knows I collect them and was happy to share them with me. I appreciate that! Last weekend Tom Lawless was doing a signing with Chris D (cpdinc on SCN) so I knew I had to send in the ticket from Game 4 of the 1987 World Series. Tom signed it with the inscription ‘Bat Flip’. If you do not remember the game or the at bat, check it out here. It is a pretty neat addition to the collection. I thank Steve, Chris, and Tom for making it happen!
