About three years ago I sent the Ernie Banks “Where Are They Now?” Sports Illustrated magazine to a private signing. Due to a mixup caused by the person conducting the private signing, I was unable to get my magazine signed (I have not purchased anything from him and was removed from his mailing list as a result). I resubmitted it a couple months later and sadly Mr Banks passed away. Via my friend Joel B, I was connected with a person who had a PSA’d issue for sale. Today I received the magazine from Brian L and can mark this one off as taken care of! Thanks for the help Joel!

A Dutch Treat
Today I met up with Nick K who gets Twins and the visiting teams’ autographs for me. When the Rockies were in town he was able to get Greg Holland to sign his Sports Illustrated magazine from 10.27.2014. I was able to give Nick a bunch of Twins cards to get signed for me over the next month or so too!
The Pitching Trivia Answer
It seems like all the recent trivia questions have the answer of Roy Oswalt. Today I received my 04.04.2011 Sports Illustrated magazine that was already signed by Cole Hamels from Darrell H (thehalk on SCN). Darrell had a private signing with Oswalt and got it signed. I now have two of the five pitchers on the cover! Thanks Darrell!
I Caught a Trout!
Today I received a package from Vinnie M (vinniemiller on SCN). I sent some items to Vinnie to get items signed for me from the teams that visit Seattle where is lives. He game through big time for me! The package today contained the following beautifully signed items:

Brad Peacock ML Debut ticket
Jose Altuve ML Debut ticket
Yulieski Gurriel ML Debut ticket @ 2
Luke Gregorson baseball
Marcel Ozuna baseball
and the best of all…
Mike Trout on the 08.27.2012 Sports Illustrated!
