Today I received a baseball I have wanted for a long, long time. I have always wanted a Joe DiMaggio baseball but was afraid of getting one because there were so many fakes out there. I recently sold a baseball that yielded me a nice starting point to look for a DiMaggio baseball. I sold a few more things and ended up with enough money to purchase the ball I really wanted. Today I received a beautiful PSA full letter certified Joe DiMaggio baseball for my collection. It was the second most expensive baseball I have ever purchased for my collection but I have one that I feel very comfortable with having. It is graded PSA 9 which is awesome too!

Bob Allison
Today I received a couple cards for my Twins set. Every first of the month I check Brian F (abcunlimited.net)’s update to see if he added any new Twins cards I might need. The update for January included a 1962 Topps Bob Allison #180 that I needed. I contacted Brian to acquire it and he reminded me that I had a credit from a small website fix I did for him a while ago so I ended up with the Allison and a 1982 Twins Future Stars #766 card signed by Lenny Faedo for my collection! The cards are perfect and I hope to get Hrbek and Laudner to finish the 1982 card at Twinsfest in a couple weeks!
Old McDonald Signed My SI, E-I-E-I-O
Today I received my 07.18.1994 Sports Illustrated magazine signed by Ben McDonald. I had previously gotten Mike Mussina to sign it and needed Ben to complete it. I recently saw that Tim V (Sigs4Soldiers on SCN) had a contact with Ben and I messaged asking if I could send my SI to get signed along with a sizable donation. Today I received it signed beautifully! It is awesome! To date, Tim has raised over $40,000 for Military Missions In Action through his Sigs4Soldiers program!
Bruno!
I was recently going through a pile of older tickets and came across a nice stack of 1987 ALDS FULL tickets from Tiger Stadium. I decided to send a Game 5 ticket to Tom Brunansky who hit a home run in that game in which the Twins won the American League title and headed to the World Series. I also had found a photo of Tom from the early 1980’s when he was swinging at the plate in the old powder blue uniform. Today I received both with Tom signing the photo with #24 and the ticket with “HOMERUN” and “’87 AL Champs”. I love the ticket! Great memories for me and I am sure for him too as he signed it! Thanks Tom!
