Today I received a package from my buddy Greg N (justgreg on SCN) who got my a couple autographs this past baseball season. He got me a Randy Rosario debut ticket with “MLB Debut” and a sweetspot baseball signed by Jo Adell. Adell is ranked really high on the MLB top prospect lists. I am excited to add each of these! They’re Real And They’re Spectacular!
Today I received a real nice box of goodies I had sent in to Tom Orr for the Chicago Sports Spectacular. I have worked with Tom MANY times and have never been disappointed and this time was no different. I was able to get a Baseball/1975 magazine with Lou Brock on the cover signed. It has a cool photo of Lou sliding back to first base after a pickoff attempt. I also got the 03.05.2012 Sports Illustrated signed by Ozzie Guillen and my 300 win baseball signed by Tom Glavine with ” 305 W’s”. All items are awesome! Thanks Tom!
Don’t Be MAD, BUSTER!
Mill Creek Sports started their Black Friday deals a few days ago. One of the items they had on sale was the 04.20.2018 Sports Illustrated Giants issue signed by Buster Posey and Madison Bumgarner. It was at a price that was really too good to be true so I bought it. It is Becket certified and is beautiful! I am excited to add this issue to the collection!

Today I received a pretty cool pair of mail packages. The first was a Super Sports magazine from August 1970 which features Lou Brock and Pete Rose on the cover. I bought this magazine from Matt Keen because I had never seen it before and it was in perfect shape with both players signing it. It is a cool addition to the non-SI magazine collection!
The other package was a baseball I sent to former umpire Bob Davidson. I asked about the time he ejected Montreal Expos mascot Youppi and he replied on the baseball. You can read more about the ejection here. Pretty funny stuff.
