Today I received part one of what will be a two part package from Lanny Frattare. \u00a0A couple weeks ago I read where you could buy a signed scorecard from the long time Pirates radio announcer and I checked out what was available and bought a few. \u00a0One was the 5,000th game Lanny broadcast for the Pirates. \u00a0I asked Lanny’s son David, who is helping his father sell them, to have Lanny add an inscription of 5,000th Game or something like that. \u00a0While communicating with David, I asked if Lanny would be willing to sign a baseball with a couple of his sayings and he said to send the ball to him. \u00a0Today I received the ball and a nice note from Lanny. \u00a0I am pretty excited about this one. \u00a0I cannot wait to receive the scorecards! \u00a0Watch for that post in the upcoming days!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
